Key Responsibilities

Performs manual or machine-supported filling, assembly, labeling, packaging and packing of company and 3 rd party products. Assembles components in proper sequence using appropriate devices. Visually inspects assemblies for proper fit of components, operates test jigs, records readings or results. Manually fills or operates filling equipment for type of product and sizes of containers specified. Labels tubes, or containers, apply labels to boxes, cans, pails, etc. Operates label application equipment. Puts packaged product into boxes, seals boxes by manually applying tape or operating a taping machine. Inserts components into bags or containers per instructions and seals bag on a sealing machine. Completes assembly for the number of tubes, containers, labels or other items required for each work order; performs basic calculations to determine amounts of material required to complete work order. Lifts filled boxes of components from stand; places on pallets or stack in assigned area. Awareness of hazard code labels; follows approved precautions and procedures. Participates in 5S activities. Complies with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and procedures at all times. Works in PMF or other depts. to cover as required. Performs other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience and Education

At least 18 months of directly applicable experience preferred

Functional and Technical Skills

Must be able to effectively read, write, and communicate in English and to follow written and verbal instructions. Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations. Must posses the ability to effectively manually assemble parts using hands, fingers, hand tools, power tools, and basic jigs and fixtures with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to accurately place and remove parts from stations on production equipment with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to wear required PPE with or without reasonable accommodation. (The PPE consists of: safety glasses, steel toe shoes, uniform, gloves, hard hat, and respirator). Must have the skills and ability to work in PMF, VAP, H2 to cover as required.
