Job Title: Substance use Disorder Treatment Coordinator Additional information: This is a Monday through Friday position with no on call required! Hourly rate of pay $17.00 - $25.00 per hour with a competitive benefit package provided Location: Marquette, MI GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is under the supervision of SA/CDR Supervisor and is responsible for sustaining and improving the Substance Use Disorder Services Access System and working with the Substance Use Disorder provider network. This position will be responsible for program development, consultation, monitoring, and coordination of Women's Specialty Services (WSS) within the region. This position will be required to perform screenings and provide clinical consultations as requested regarding special circumstances and needs of the recipient. Clinical supervision will be provided by the CEO. This position serves as a team member of the Substance Use Disorder Services Site Review Team to evaluate and train providers regarding compliance with clinical procedures/processes/policies. With direction from the Medical Director and CEO this position will assist and train other managed care staff to improve processes for all concerned including elements of Person Centered Planning. This position will be knowledgeable about and actively support 1) culturally competent, recovery based practices, 2) person-centered planning as a shared decision making process with the individual, who defines his or her own life goals and is assisted in developing a unique path toward those goals, 3) a trauma informed culture of safety to aid consumers in their recovery process. This position has no direct supervisory responsibility. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (other duties may be assigned) Coordinates policies for the Central Diagnostic/Referral (CDR) to assure compliance with Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH) Block Grant, Healthy Michigan, Medicaid, MI Child and State Disability Assistance, licensing, and other applicable standards. Develops responses to the SUD strategic (annual action) plan requirements regarding substance use disorder treatment and related issues. Participates in program implementation based on approved strategic plan following policies. Serves as the Women & Families Liaison, coordinates programming & required reporting of specialty services. Education requirements: Bachelor's Degree in human services, advanced degree preferred. Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) credential offered by the Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals (MCBAP), and three years of experience in the substance use disorder field. Demonstrated experience/training with Women and Families services is desired. Applicant must have strong verbal and written communication skills and literacy in relevant software applications.
