About this job
As a Commercial Finance Senior Analyst at PepsiCo you will work in the Trade Management team focusing in all aspects of trade processes: period close, forecast, liability reviews and cash flow. This is your opportunity to take your financial and analytical skills to the next level with endless possibilities.
Period Close: Manage the period close process, review of booked trade and balance sheet position for accuracy and reasonableness; understanding and communication of key performance drivers. Work closely with the Controller's group to ensure accuracy and completeness of entries
Forecast: Analyze drivers of change vs. AOP, Forecast and LY using vol/rate/mix and communicate any risk/opportunities regarding trade
AOP: Supporting strategic plan and AOP development, including deck analysis and deck preparation
Reporting: Provide ad-hoc projects and analysis as requested
Work with cross-functional teams to manage P&L expectations
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's Degree Required (Finance or Business Administration preferred)
Work Experience:
4 - 5 years of finance analyst experience
Skills & Capabilities:
Sales Finance experience a plus
Strong foundation in the use of information systems and ability to learn/manipulate systems quickly
Results-oriented, innovative thinker with a focus on continuous improvement
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of management and ability to function effectively as part of a team to gain cooperation of individuals across the organization
Ability to work in a challenging business environment, demonstrating flexibility by managing numerous priorities concurrently. Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines
Strong attention to detail
Experience using SAP, Essbase, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Word
