Mortgage Underwriter needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Agoura Hills, CA
The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite products
- Experience in front line mortgage underwriting
- Proficiency with DU and LP
What Will You Be Doing:
- Underwrite residential loans ensuring compliance with lender and investor standards
- Examine loan documentation for accuracy, and overall credit risk
- Work with loan originator or production staff to secure all required documents
- May respond to individual and investor audits
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Five (5) years experience with Microsoft Office suite products
- Demonstrate ability with Excel and Word in addition to Adobe pdf
- Three (3) years experience in front line mortgage underwriting
- Proficiency with Desktop Underwriter and Loan Prospect
- High School Diploma or GED
Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
- Quality of Workmanship and Quantity of Production Volume
- Thorough understanding of credit and an ability to review complex financial documents
