Production Technician Job - Full-time / Part-time

Production Technician needed for a long term contract position with Yoh's client located in Freeport, TX.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Operate Hydrogen / CO plant in a safe, efficient, and reliable manner
- Ability to communicate with customer to coordinate feed and product delivery activities
- Support / comply with all safety, health, environmental procedures as defined by site/corporate personnel
- Support / comply with all process safety management practices; operate within established quality systems, reporting any deficiency
- Develop equipment purging and isolation plans as required
- Prepare equipment for maintenance activities in a safe manner
- Enter work orders into CMMS as required
- Make suggestions to improve plant safety, efficiency and quality
- Display proper attitudes / work ethics; ability to follow directions
- Provide on call assistance or work additional shifts when required
- Actively participate in training programs
- Develop or revise operating procedures as appropriate
- Perform other duties as assigned by Plant Manager

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Combination of two (2)+ years of technical training or operations experience desired
- Ability to use computers with knowledge of MS Office software
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Demonstrated good verbal/written communication skills in order to deal effectively with management and external customers
- Knowledge / understanding of instrumentation, rotating equipment, piping systems
- Demonstrated self motivated attitude
- Has full range of motion; ability to lift 50 lbs
- Able to work 12 hour rotating shifts
- Ability to climb / ascend vertical ladders as required, enter and work in confined spaces, wear a respirator
