LVN or Registered Nurse (Occupational Health) needed for a contract pportunity with Yoh's client located in Salt Lake City, Utah


The Licensed Vocational Health Nurse (LVHN) has responsibility for supporting the Occupational Health programs and activities. . Communicates with employees, medical providers, third party administrators, and operations managers. Wellness: Maintains accurate record of Wellness Champion training. Participate in wellness activities Prevention: Ensures compliance of training goals by running queries, communicating exceptions, and resolving exceptions. Conducts training as necessary Regulatory Compliance: Responds to training requests. Ensures compliance of training goals by running queries, communicating exceptions, and resolving exceptions.


Top Skills You Should Possess:



    - Strong clinical assessment and nursing skills experiece
    - Prior experience as a Case Manager preferable in Occupational health or workers comp
    - Flexible and able to travel within 60 miles

What You'll Be Doing:



    - Department of Transportation Examination Compliance, Controlled Substance Testing, Drug and Alcohol Program/Aftercare, Disability Management, Management of Work Related Injury/Illness Claims, American with Disabilities Act (ADA) Process Waiver Protocol, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Crisis Management, Hearing Conservation Program Compliance, Respiratory Medical Compliance, Health Education/Wellness Programs, and Medical Provider Management.
    - These responsibilities will require the Licensed Vocational Health Nurse (LVHN) to travel to other buildings as well as medical providers to provide training and education to both employees and vendors. Injury Management: Performs daily tasks of managing of work related injuries for OSHA 0,1,2,3.
    - Gathers medical information to review with Occupational Health Supervisor for determination of TAW extension or Lost Time. Maintains documentation / journal notes in SHRMIS . Compiles / provide reports as needed Evaluate, provide first aid treatment and refer as needed all work related injuries and illnesses.


What You Need to Bring to the Table:



    - Three (3) years occupational health , urgent care or ER experience
    - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications And solid computer skills
    - LVN License in Utah
    - Prior Case Management required but entry level Occupational health is OK
