About this job
Our client located near Lynbrook, NY is currently seeking a Licensed Customs House Broker to fill their open Branch Manager position. This position will involve some regional travel for sales! Salary is contingent upon experience.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or extensive recent/relevant experience
U.S. Customs Brokerage License
At least five years supervisory experience
At least seven years customs brokerage experience
Transportation/export/warehouse experience
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Supervise and direct branch employees. Ensure accurate completion of work.
Responsible for hiring, assigning work, training, evaluation performance, motivating counseling employees and terminations
Provide excellent customer service, problem resolution, and ensure timely deliveries
Make customer and prospect calls to develop and maintain business relationships
Prepare monthly management reports
