We have a full-time/part-time opening for a HR Manager.
Must be able to work various shifts per week.
Requirements
Interim HR Manager
Responsibilities:
- Development of programs, processes, policies and initiatives that communicate and further the companies policies and processes as well as establish best practices for the Columbia location.
- Develop program for sucessful onboarding of new hires
- Implement communcations of Human Resource related laws and regulations such as EEO, ADA, FLSA, NLRA, FMLA, etc.
- Establish local relationships with vendors for post offer physicals, workers' compensation claims management
-Ensures compliance with all regulatory and corporate compliance requirements for safety systems
-Managaes and administers the fringe benefit programs and plans to include health care (medical, dental, and perscription) life insurance, retirement plan, disability plan, helth savings accounts and other identified employee benefits in accordance with the company policy as well as state, local, and federal regulations. These include COBRA, HIPPA, ERISA, FMLA, etc.
- Establish processes for identifying and resolving HR, Safety, and Benefits administration issues
- Liason to complete hiring process: offer letters, pre employment processes, onboarding
- Establish the HR procedures/ processes: Handbook, legal posting,Employee files, benefits orientation, Payroll interface with SSCI Lancaster
Job Requirements

-Ability to build strong working relationships and effectively work as a team player
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) in communicating with employees at all levels of the Company, and professionals outside of the company in legal, academic, regulatory and professional roles
- Work with limited supervision
- Experience working in a best practices environment developing or implementing policies, programs, processes and innitiatives in a manufacturing setting
