Job Description

We currently have an opening for a Clinical Applications Specialist for our Issaquah, WA location. This position will provide a clinical perspective in the development and evaluation of new Ultrasound products; design/deliver instruction for the operation of Ultrasound equipment--to Ultrasound stakeholders and customer users.

Responsibilities include:

- Scan a variety of anatomy using a wide range of hardware and software configurations

- Acquire and evaluate images and test system/software performance

- Requirements elicitation - Stakeholder needs gathered using clinical workflow and then documented

- Create use cases

- Communication of imaging results to stakeholders in a technical and clinical context

- Maintain ARDMS or equivalent credentials

- Serve as the subject matter expert and resource for all clinical issues

- Work with Product Mgr to give input to write requirements - Translate customer workflow requirements into detailed product specifications and represent end customer workflow needs in requirement discussions.

- Provide clinical perspective and feedback to teams that impact the design of new products including scanning, image evaluation, and workflow input.

- Assist in the clinical evaluation of new products

- Support trade shows and other training and marketing events

- Documentation and tracking of CHARMs (Change and Revision Management).

- Participate in internal/external clinical evaluations and validation & verification.

- Understand Siemens' and competitors' products and workflows

- Make recommendations to engineers by integrating clinical and product information

- Identify opportunities for product improvement.

Education & Experience:

- BS/BA in related discipline

- Current ARDMS or equivalent credentials in relevant field(s) (RDMS, RDCS, RVT, RMSK)

- Prior experience in field applications or other commercial ultrasound experience highly desired
