Job overview

This role is responsible for coordinating services for clients and in-house guests, and providing administrative and sales support for the sales and catering department.

What you will be doing

  • Respond to client calls and special requests and obtain final details, dates, times, and hotel room and meeting room requirements
  • Administrative duties such as, typing proposals, letters, contracts, etc.
  • Maintain filing, trace and office services in accordance with normal operating procedures.
  • Coordinate outside vendor services needs where appropriate
  • Follow-up with client to ensure that arrangements meet their needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned (guest room tours, property tours, special guest requests, maintaining calendars, answering phones and routing to appropriate sales staff, handling of mail, faxes, etc.)

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent, plus 1 year experience in a sales/catering office or related field
  • Some College is preferred.
  • Must be able to type at least 50 wpm
  • Proficient in social media and computer skills
  • Experience with Sales Pro and Opera preferred
