OptumHealth Behavioral Solutions has an immediate need for a NEW Behavioral Clinical Consulting Analyst.  As the chosen candidate you will be responsible for  providing clinical quality assurance of psychotherapy treatment plans to ensure that professional standards are met, protective and risk issues are addressed, and treatment is clinically appropriate.  The Behavioral Clinical Consulting Analyst investigates complaints and quality of care issues and participates in the peer review resolution process. 


 


Responsibilities will include:




  • Conducting clinical quality oversight of mental health treatment for clients referred through the Juvenile Court


  • Professional consultation to providers and other stakeholders, as well as additional collaboration with clinical leadership on improvement opportunities to best mitigate risk to clients and County agencies

Requirements

Qualified applicants for this highly visible role must be a CA Licensed Clinician (MFT, LCSW, Ph.D. or PsyD) with the following qualifications:




  • Experience with domestic violence treatment (victim side specific) 


  • Minimum 3 years of behavioral health experience

  • Computer proficiency, must be able to type and navigate around a Windows based environment

  • Must be able to travel throughout San Diego County, up to 25% of the time

  • Must be flexible and available to observe domestic violence victims groups in the evenings as needed

 


Preferred Assets:



  • Experience providing clinical oversight or feedback to other clinical professionals is highly preferred


  • Clinical experience with Child Welfare Services population is preferred


  • Managed Care experience is a plus!


  • Bi-Lingual in Spanish is a plus!
