In this AutoCAD Instrumentation Designer position, you will have the opportunity to create and establish design drawings consistent with good practices and conforms to current Codes & Standards. The CAD operator applies standard drafting techniques to generate and interpret drawings in support of assigned projects, ensuring that all established company design standards and practices are followed. Applicant should be motivated, have good analytical skills, and enjoy working in a challenging team environment..

The ideal AutoCAD Instrumentation Designer candidate will possess the following experience:

• Associate Degree in Mechanical Design / Certificate in computer-aided design (or equivalent years of experience).
• 5+ years of relevant and successful experience designing process piping and instrumentation control design drawings.
• Understand basic engineering principles as they relate to process piping, mechanical, and instrumentation control design.
• Have history of successfully preparing 2D design drafting drawings that include new construction, plant design, as well as documenting process of change and as-built modifications.
• Provide construction support during installation.
• Ability to develop instrument index drawings.
