Environmental Field Technician - Full-time / Part-time

A growing, mid-sized environmental firm in Indianapolis has an immediate opening for an Environmental Field Technician.

This individual will work on environmental remediation/cleanup projects and travel to various sites to perform clean-up, construction, and environmental sampling duties. The position is contract-to-hire and is a great opportunity to start a career in the environmental industry.

Major job duties include:

• Conducting site maintenance: industrial clean-up, grounds keeping, UST removal and installation
• Installation and maintenance of environmental remediation systems equipment
• Assisting in emergency spill response
• Performing basic construction and demolition duties
• Maintain safe working environment at field site
• Collection of environmental monitoring data from field systems
• Performing other related duties as required

Job requirements and qualifications:

• B.S. Degree in Environmental Science or other related degree OR 1 year experience working as an environmental field technician
• Good understanding of construction and maintenance procedures and principals
• Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions is required
• Travel is required for this position (both in-state and out-of-state).

This is a position is a day shift position with required overtime hours.
