Lab Technician/Auditor

This position will require time spent in both a laboratory and office setting. In the laboratory, this individual will be expected to perform basic wet and bench chemistry techniques. In the office, the individual will be helping with inventory management and assisting in the preparation for external auditing.

Lab Experience Preferred

* Must be familiar with titrations and pH testing in order to perform quality testing
* Excellent organizational capabilities - i.e. ability to maintain lab filing system.
* Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
* Must have excellent work ethic and communication skills.
* Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
* Must be able to follow both written and verbal instructions.
* Must be able to follow all applicable safety procedures including correct personal protective equipment.
* Must have good interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment and interact with management and employees within the organization.
* Ability to work overtime when required.
* Good communication skills (oral and written).

Inventory management, Auditng,
*Perform analytical and physical tests in accordance with customer specifications.
* Conduct chemical tests and analysis, then calculate and compile test results, and interpret data.
* Set up and maintain current, precise and systematic records for the quality system.
* Maintain lab supplies and troubleshoot equipment as necessary.
* Evaluates and reports test results for review by management team.
