About this job
The Sales Consultant is responsible for meeting sales performance targets, complying with all business policies/procedures, and complying with regulatory requirements applicable to the energy industry and telemarketing. Acts as the primary in-house expert on all sales activities including: outbound calling campaigns, inbound customer retention, and system updates. The primary responsibility is to sell Energy services to current and potential customers via telephone (telemarketing).
Primary Responsibilities:
-Contact current/potential customers via outbound telephone calls, both manually and via dialer, and attempt to enroll/correct account information to achieve specific business objectives
-Utilize, maintain, and continuously improve various sales/communication techniques, knowledge of brand products, services, rates/terms, and promotions
-Utilize a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database and all associated enterprise systems
-Meet and maintain sales objectives
-Meet and maintain call quality standards
-Meet and maintain outbound calling campaign performance objectives
-Demonstrate and ensure adherence to all Crius Energy and department policies/standards.
