About this job

Our client manufacturs display systems for various types of military aircraft. The testing technician will have extensive experience in testing/troubleshooting electronic and electro-mechanical components, circuit card assemblies, subassemblies, prototypes and test fixtures for military aircraft cockpit displays systems (C-5, C-130H, S-3, U2 and T38 Aircraft).

Typical Day- The technician will be working at a work station all day. They will have a rack of returned/faulty items at their work station that they will be responsible for debugging and repairing. They must be able to troubleshoot circuit boards down to a component level. Candidate must understand the manufacturing process and understand how to read a flow tag. Testing experience is a plus. They must have basic computer skills (Microsoft office, data entry). They will be responsible for documenting repairs they make on the computer. They MUST understand that they will be sitting at a work station for 95% of the day and they must be okay with this. Candidate must be able to work well with others.
