A client of Aerotek is a full-service engineering consulting firm that specializes in helping businesses and municipalities solver their challenges and meet their goals. With decades of experience, our professional engineers, surveyors, geologists, and environmental scientists provide high quality consulting services to a diverse range of clients and projects across the nation.

They currently seeking personnel interested in full time positions serving as Landfill Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) Technician working out of their Dublin, OH office. This individual will be traveling to various landfills to perform on-site documentation/recording of daily activities and verifying that the work the general contractors are doing are accurate and correct. They will be preparing daily reports and attending daily meetings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Construction monitoring and documentation of construction activities at solid waste landfill facilities including field inspection and testing of soils and geosynthetic liners. On-site job training will be provided as necessary.
- Responsible for assuring overall compliance with all applicable project specifications and construction drawings.
- Good communication, writing, and organization skills necessary.
- Must be self starting and willing to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Soils laboratory coursework and interest/experience in construction is a definite plus.
- Travel is required with expenses covered for out of town assignments.
- Work could be 6-7 days per week with overtime anticipated during construction season.

These individuals could be assigned to a job site and work 6-7 days a week for 3-4 month durations, coming home very seldomly. They could expect working up to 20-30 hours of overtime each week. When on a job site, they will be paid $25/day per diem for food.

MUSTS:
- Familiarity with construction specs
- Ability to write daily/weekly reports
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to travel and be away from home for long periods of time
- Good communication skills

PLUS:
- Nuclear Gauge/density certification
- Landfill construction experience
- Associates degree
