The Director of Account Management is responsible for the delivery of account management to their respective client base within the assigned business units. Engage, understand and communicate unique services needs of their business unit with sales, internal partners, and other key operational areas. Responsible for identifying and driving operational process improvement initiatives for their business unit throughout CVS Caremark. Responsible for the client satisfaction of their business unit regarding overall operational support and service delivery on behalf of CVS Caremark. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with various internal operational partners to meet client deliverables and ensure understanding of operational changes, clients, as well identify operational product and service offerings ideal for business unit. Must exhibit strong leadership competencies while exercising good judgment and diplomacy. Solid systems knowledge, process, service and product knowledge.

* Drive and Influence operational process improvements on behalf of clients within respective business unit, throughout CVS Caremark.

* Lead and manage team responsible for client satisfaction, retention, and successful delivery of day-to-day operational projects, with a focus on identifying and driving a proactive delivery of service to clients within respective business unit.

* Provide on-site leadership and guidance for all operational staff regarding any immediate or urgent employee and/or facility needs.

* Lead and manage talent development, employee turnover, employee engagement and morale. Responsible for the establishment of a strong, positive, and accountable culture.

* Partner with sales Leader of respective business unit to ensure alignment of support for delivery of strategy, sales goals, operational needs to establish CVS Caremark as an industry leader within business unit.

Required Qualifications 10+ years of relevant work experience in managing client relationships, and acting as the liaison in that relationship with various internal operational partners.

Strong technical skills; project management tools, PowerPoint, word/excel. Some PBM system knowledge - adjudication process knowledge

Strong Leadership skills/competencies to drive change, establish positive and proactive environment, support employee career development

Proven competencies in holding self and others accountable, ownership and ability to influence outside of sphere of responsibility.

Knowledge of pharmacy benefits management and healthcare industries

Preferred Qualifications -Effective communication skills (written and verbal)

-Ability to build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships to enhance customer service in order to achieve business objectives

-Effective presentation skills

-Excellent listening and probing skills

-Strong time management and organizational skills that exhibit a continuous effort to support individual and team objectives

-Intermediate project management skills

-Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects with previous project management experience

-Demonstrate advanced problem-solving and analytical skills; with the ability to solve problems independently and within the scope of the job

-Proven ability to manage through negotiations, issues, challenges and gain resolution with impacted internal partners, clients, pharmacy networks, etc.

-Ability to drive solutions that balance both client expectations and Caremark objectives

-Ability to deliver results, strong customer focus, and proven leadership abilities

-Proven history of high client satisfaction and client retention
