The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks a candidate for our Technology and Network Operations Division. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
Position Summary
The NOC Quality Assurance team provides quality assurance through the auditing of incident management ticketing and trend analysis. This includes daily ticket dissection, record keeping, and surveillance data gathering.
Essential Job Functions:
* The NOC is a 24/7/365 operation. Employees must be willing and able to work rotating and/or non-standard work shifts, including evenings, overnight, weekends and holidays. (Principle hours of operation are M-F 9-5).
* Collects, processes, and analyzes ticketing data gathered from disaggregated sources such as Remedy, Oracle BI, and others as necessary
* Ensures a high level of accuracy in their analysis and communication with the NOC leaders and operators
* Works closely with ticket user group and related departments for ticket trending, tool development, and policy changes
* Interviews ticket users to obtain tool and policy requirements to befit "best for business" performance
* Works with data stewards, operations owners, and development teams to present common ground findings and proposed solutions Job Requirements: The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:
* Demonstrates excellence and an attention to detail in written and oral communications (grammatical, spelling, facts, layout/style, professionalism)
* Demonstrated ability to perform event analysis and quality assurance checks on a high volume of tickets on a daily basis
* Demonstrated ability to isolate, interpret, and articulate trend analysis for varying audiences, user to executive
* Above average skills with software tools in support of presentations (Excel, Power Point, Word, and Visio, webinars)
* Prepare and present quantitative information in a clear and professional format
* Ability to work independently with little direction as a "self-starter"
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education and experience.
Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:
No Supervisory responsibilities with this position.
