Senior Sales Managers are responsible to capture all inbound leads and follow up in a timely manner with the goal of driving Business development through solicitation of assigned market/accounts by booking group/convention room nights, associated food and beverage revenue, theme park events, and theme park admissions. Be able to effectively partner with supporting operational teams in order to deliver strong client satisfaction and ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled. Responsibilities Develop meeting opportunities through new business solicitation, sales calls, tradeshow and other sales activities as needed. Conduct site inspections, sales presentations, preplanning meetings and product orientations. Develop innovative and creative meeting and event solutions representative of the Disney brand. Collaborate with key partners to remove barriers in order to provide excellent guest service. Be an expert in all Disney products and services. Seek out guest contact and stay visible to the clients. Use systems appropriately to maintain accurate records, initiate reports and monitor sales activity. Attain all financial goals as outlined and provide accurate forecasts. Actively participate in ongoing training seminars to further enhance current skills Display strong time management skills, know how and when to impose deadlines and delegate tasks Represent RPSS in strategically significant committees. Keep the consultative sales approach philosophy relevant in all day to day interactions with cast and clients. Mentor for other cast members as needed. Expert in the Disney Advantage tools and uses them to create innovative solutions for our clients. Responsible for personal sales productivity, ensuring that it is reflected correctly on sales reports and in accordance with SUCCESS guidelines on a monthly basis. Participate in a committee in an industry organization that allows you to showcase Disney as a meetings solution. Responsible for knowing and following all Disney company policies and guidelines. Basic Qualifications Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills. Demonstrated strong relationship and influencing abilities. Demonstrated strong client management and partnering abilities. Demonstrated strong knowledge of Meetings and Conventions including processes and work flows. Minimum of 5 years meeting industry experience. Demonstrated computer proficiency within a Windows environment. Proven social and networking skills/cultural sensitivity/diversity. Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated excellent business acumen. Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including weekends and holidays. Ability to organize and host site inspections and Client entertainment opportunities. Ability to discover, understand and communicate Client needs, effectively and efficiently Ability to work independently and on a team. Appropritately represent the brand in all internal and external client interaction.
