Two Rivers Behavioral Health, a 105-bed acute facility, is a leading provider of behavioral health care in the Kansas City area on both an inpatient and outpatient basis. For the past 25 years the facility has provided 24-hour care for individuals in need. We currently have a PRN position available for a Social Worker / Counselor to work with our inpatient populations.

The clinician selected for this position will provide individual and group therapies as well as case management on assigned units.

We strongly prefer previous experience in providing social work/ counseling services in an inpatient hospital setting.

Job Requirements: The successful candidate should have experience with individual and group therapy for patients in an inpatient, hospital setting.

Education: Master's degree in social work, counseling or related filed is required.

Licensure/Certification: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Missouri preferred. Initial licensure level of LMSW, PLPC or equivalent is required.

Knowledge: Prefer knowledge in case management, discharge planning, treatment planning, group and individual therapies, family therapy, and crisis and behavior management. Experience working with patients with diagnoses including depression, anxiety disorders, and addictive disorders.
