The Corporate Responsibility (CR) department is responsible for the development and implementation of the firm's CR agenda and initiatives by crafting goals, policies and initiatives that align with and support the firm's business strategies and operational objectives and support the communities where we do business. The CR department comprises Global Philanthropy, Employee Engagement, Office of Nonprofit Engagement, Environmental Affairs, Government Relations and Impact Investing.

The International Policy Intern will be a part of the Washington, DC office and will support the Global Corporate Responsibility team with a particular focus on international policy analysis and program development.

Job Responsibilities:

Work with the Manager of the JP Morgan International Council on all aspects for the planning and execution of the upcoming Council meeting in October

Work with Global Engagement team in developing written analysis for internal distribution on major global events

Assist with tracking key global political events, to include identifying priority events for further analysis and reporting

Organize and manage internal programs with outside policy experts to examine key global events and trends, to include strengthening internal communications/processes for leveraging existing firm relationships

Draft invitations, memos, letters and other documents in support of the work of the International Government Relations team

Support the team's work by conducting research and due diligence as directed

Completed or in process of completing Masters Degree or relevant work experience

Experience working in or with the private sector experience is desired

Strong writing and oral communications skills

Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

Demonstration of problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative

Ability to work in a high-performance, professional environment, with quick turn-around and changing priorities
