As
part of Chase Commercial Banking, Credit Markets (CM) is a strategic resource
for bankers to bring customized, comprehensive solutions to meet various
business-specific or marketplace needs of clients and prospects. The group
consists of Chase Business Credit, Chase Capital, Chase Equipment Finance, ESOP
Advisory Group and Syndicated Finance.
CM provides a unique opportunity to work across businesses and gain a
deeper understanding of the firm. The diversity of exposure you will receive as
a Year-round Intern with CM will set you up for a successful full-time career.
As
a key member of the team, you will be expected to make a personal impact right
from the start. You will benefit from on-the-job experiences and networking
opportunities, while handling real responsibilities throughout your internship. You will also take part in presentations and
other events available through the Commercial Bank Summer Analyst Program.
The magnitude of a Year-round
Intern's job
As
a Year-round Intern, you will work alongside our professionals and see how the
banking business really works. You will play an integral role on the Business
Management team, which supports the five businesses within CM.
Responsibility
from the start
As a CM Year-round
Intern, you will:

Prepare
presentation and marketing materials for use in client meetings
*
Conduct
industry and client-specific research
*
Develop
and maintain sales and marketing tools
*
Assist
in management reporting and business analytics
Training and development
You'll experience best-in-class,
hands-on training throughout your internship. You will develop an appreciation
for the firm's culture and strategy as a result of interactions with senior
executives during the course of your internship.
Over the course of the year,
you'll gain skills that will stay with you throughout your entire career.
You'll create a deep professional network with other Analysts, Interns and more
senior colleagues, both within and outside of CM.
Qualifications
Candidates interested in the CM Year-round Intern
Program should be/have:
*
Pursing
a BS/BA degree (Business, Finance & Accounting preferred; all majors
considered)
*
Graduating
between December 2016 and June 2017
*
Able
to work full-time this summer and part-time (15-20 hours) during the 2015-16 school
year
*
A
cumulative GPA of 3.2
*
Superior
analytical, quantitative, leadership, interpersonal and written/verbal
communication skills
*
A
keen attention to detail and a creative mindset
*
The
proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Permanent and/or unrestricted authorization to work in
the U.S.
