Customer Service Representative (Outbound)

Job Description:

- Initiate outbound calls to Insurance Payer members.
- Complete welcome calls to patients regarding their most recent Patient Care Provider (PCP) visit to engage and enroll them into specific programs.
- Communicate professionally with patients, providers and caregivers to obtain or provide information.
- Ability to triage inbound calls and direct to proper parties
- Collect information and simultaneously document data into a computer-based program
- Ability to schedule doctor appointments on behalf of customer.
- Meet and exceed predetermined goals - present marketing/sales initiatives and special campaigns to various members.

Training is 1 week and it goes over the nature of the call, system training, and client information

Candidates need to be flexible to work 8 am - 8 pm, M-F.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of one (1) year of sales, or customer service experience within a call center environment
- Outbound call center and sales experienced is preferred
- Healthcare and medical insurance experience is a plus, not required
- High school diploma or recognized equivalent required
- Ability to maintain a high energy level and positive attitude in a fast paced environment
- Basic personal computer skills are necessary, including Microsoft Office & Windows programs and the ability to maneuver between multiple screens quickly
- Must have strong written, oral, & interpersonal communication and trouble-shooting skills
- Proven history of excellent punctuality, regular and consistent attendance.
- Bilingual in Spanish & English is a plus
