Evolve Paleo Chef is a personal chef business based out of Lenexa, KS. The Paleo diet is based on the principles of eating a diet composed of meats, fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and berries with No sugar, No dairy, and No gluten. We deliver delicious Paleo food to our clients each week.
We are looking for a Retail Store Manager for our Tulsa, OK location opening soon. The Evolve Paleo Chef Retail Store Manager is responsible for the overall operation and performance of our Tulsa location, which includes, but is not limited to: meeting sales goals, merchandising, operations, staffing, supervision, training and development, inventory management, loss prevention, and ensuring adherence to company set guidelines and policies.
Essential Responsibilities
Location Management
* Responsible for opening and closing of the location.
* Handles scheduling and attendance of staff for location. (Store hours 7am -7pm)
* Ensures that there is sufficient product inventory, retail front is stocked daily and orders are placed with distribution when needed.
* Oversees the cash drawer, ensures that it balances daily and that bank deposits are made daily.
Team Management
* Assists distribution center in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training of Sales Associates.
* Evaluates performance of the team and develops a plan to address, train and manage issues effectively.
* Actively engages with the team and customers by sampling, selling, and merchandising throughout the day.
* Ensure through training that staff are educated on Evolve Products and can discuss with clients the benefits of eating Paleo.
Sales Goals
* Effectively drives sales goals and customer service with continued focus on improvement
* Contacts local gyms for potential wholesale product sales
* Attend events and creates marketing activities to increase revenues of retail product and meal service.
Qualifications
* Must have a passion for people and loyalty to the Evolve Paleo Chef brand
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to drive and motivate performance.
* Highly organized with the ability to adapt quickly to strategic change through critical thinking, problem solving skills, conflict management and stress tolerance.
* Area Managers must be always accessible and on call for business needs.
* At least 2-3 years retail management and customer service
* Strong Client skills
* Basic computer knowledge
* Bachelor's Degree preferred
* Must pass background & driving check

Working Conditions
* Generally set schedule depending on workload and events.
* Must be available weekends.
