Position Description:



 



You're empowered to do your best and to be an integral part of
projects and programs managed through the OPI PMO! Join us to perform a wide
range of business analysis activities, including, but not limited to:

  • The gathering of business requirements to support operational
    process improvements and client implementations of OPI payment integrity
    services.
  • Gain extensive understanding of OPI business processes and
    application architecture to serve as a valuable resource for understanding what
    should be captured to ensure high quality requirements.
  • Delivering process flows and use cases, both current and future
    state.
  • Creation of Business Area Context Diagrams (BACDs) and consulting
    with Solution Architects as they develop architectural and system process
    flows.
  • Leading requirements walk-through sessions to gain consensus
    resulting and sign off in order to initiate development for technology related
    projects or the implementation of new or enhanced business processes.
  • Developing User Acceptance Testing strategies in conjunction with
    end users.
  • Directing User Acceptance Testing execution.
  • Managing defect reporting and resolution of important testing
    activities performed by business SMEs.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+
    years of business analysis experience in a fast paced, quality-focused
    environment.
  • Proven
    ability to support multiple concurrent projects and meet delivery timelines.
  • 2+ years of hands-on MS Visio experience
  • Self-motivated
    professional who can work independently or closely with PMO project and program
    managers.
  • Effective
    interpersonal influence, collaboration and listening skills.
  • Exceptional
    communication skills and experience working across many levels of an
    organization.
  • Rigorous
    attention to detail and follow through.
  • Bachelor's
    degree required 


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous
    client and company presentation experience.
  • 5+
    years of experience in healthcare.
  • Six
    Sigma (Greenbelt, Blackbelt), ISO-9000 or other quality certification.
  • Business
    process knowledge related to technical applications within UHG-IT and/or Optum
    Payment Integrity would be a differentiator. Examples: Claims Highway, EDI
  • Knowledge of Payment Cycle Management processes is a plus.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to drive the completion of deliverables on time and with appropriate rigor & urgency
