Our Magnet facility, located in the heart of Fort Worth's medical district , focuses on providing high quality patient care and service with designation in multiple specialty certifications including the first in the north Texas area to be designated as a Comprehensive Stroke Center.

As a Magnet facility our nurses have an active voice in their nursing practice and enjoy the benefit of reimbursement to further their education. If you are looking for a high acuity, fast-paced emergency department with robust team dynamics then Plaza is for you.

Patients can be on balloon pumps, vents, multiple cardiac drips etc. Nurses in the holding area pull sheaths, monitor ICU patients brought down from the floor prior to their procedure, and must be able to monitor unstable ICU patients post procedure if beds are not available.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Education and Training Experience Required

* Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing

* Ability to read EKG monitors

CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE: Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

* RN with current licensure or RN with current temporary permit to practice from the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas

* Current BCLS certification

* Current ACLS certification

* Current Specialty certification preferred

ICU Nursing or strong Cardiac Telemetry experience required.
