POSITION SUMMARY

The Customer Service Representative will handle inbound calls from providers for a variety of health plans. They will review claims that require rework by Service Consultants and collaboration with other internal departments to ensure fast, accurate, and efficient services.

Fundamental Components:

Individual must be able to provide a level of customer service to all callers that is unrivalled.

Will handle inbound calls for a variety of health plans.

Must understand, identify, and locate the tools and resources needed to handle claim inquiries by providers.

Prior knowledge and understanding of claims and healthcare is important

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

Customer Service experiences in a transaction, quality based environment such as a call center preferred.

Employee must have a basic knowledge of Health Care Insurance, medical claims forms, and medical coding.

Employee must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to adapt the rapid changes.

Employee must be able to articulate to all levels of Health Care Providers.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent experience.
