3M is seeking Prodcution Operators for the Corporate Business Group located in Clinton, TN. Ready to be part of what's next?
Job Summary :
The person hired for the position of Manufacturing Operator will serve the 3M Clinton CT1 manufacturing area. This employee will be commonly referenced as an operator, winder operator and trucker and serve all of these functions on a rotational basis and must perform all area functional tasks. Examples of these tasks include the following tasks.
- On-line quality control
- Production reporting
- Material Handling (identify, allocate, retrieve and stage material)
- Operate, monitor, and control process equipment to maintain quality product
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Equipment operator for the following processes
- Product winder
- Slitter
- Scrim unwind
- Packaging
- Sonic welder
- Extruder
- Fiber equipment
- Operates powered industrial vehicles such as fork trucks
- Ability to obtain Powered Industrial Vehicle license
This position will require:
- Working overtime
- Weekend work
- Working on holidays as needed
- Short notice call in
- Working on call
This position may require:
- Working a first, second, or third shift depending on business needs
Basic Qualifications:
- Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of three years of manufacturing experience
- Lean manufacturing experience
Location: Clinton, Tennessee
Relocation: Is not authorized
Qualified applicants will be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process.
