American Airlines Federal Credit Union, with $5.6 billion in assets is one of the largest credit unions in Texas. We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to tackle numerous financial analysis responsibilities at our headquarters located in Ft. Worth, Texas.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

* Responsible for assisting the Finance Manager in coordinating and reviewing reports provided by third-party investment advisors and stress testing firms

* Performs analysis and prepares reports for Finance Committee meetings, external auditors and federal regulatory examiners

* Analyzes financial information, product and transaction activity and other reports to determine current and projected product profitability and usage as well as productivity trends.

* Advises and assists Management in analyzing cost-related, profitability and productivity issues

* Analyzes problems in terms of management information needs

* Performs analysis of financial and non-financial information and all other duties as assigned

* Advises and assists the Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer in analyzing loan purchases

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account information and Credit Union documents and that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required - preferably in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Quantitative Analysis

* Previous banking or credit union experience preferred

* Previous consumer and mortgage loan underwriting experience preferred

* Experience in financial planning and analysis with knowledge of cost accounting, financial accounting, and budgeting highly desired

* Strong analytical and problem solving skills required, along with excellent organizational skills and capacity for attention to detail

* Capable of assimilating large volumes of detailed information and organizing and presenting the material in simple terms

* Strong aptitude for problem solving

* Ability to work in a team environment under tight deadlines and high volume pressure with little supervision

* Ability to accept ownership, responsibility and accountability of functional obligations

* Strong PC skills required including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and/or additional database management software, modeling software

* Excellent written and oral communication skills

* Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management

* Must be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language

* Satisfactory performance and attendance record required

* Candidates will be required to pass applicable American Airlines pre-hire compliance checks

* Candidates must have an acceptable credit rating, which will be verified (e.g., no past due accounts, charge-offs, collection items or bankruptcies)
