The beautiful Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center is seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead Technician to provide leadership of maintenance staff and departmental operations.  

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Lead / direct the maintenance team to provide superior equipment performance and guest service.
  • Establish schedule for maintenance coverage at the facility as dictated by business volume.
  • Inspect and maintain all building components, mechanicals including the roofs, regularly.
  • Schedule, manage, and review Hotel room Preventative Maintenance process. 
  • Maintain an adequate inventory of supplies, materials and equipment.
  • Perform maintenance work, as needed, including equipment Preventative Maintenance procedures.
  • Work closely with the Chief Engineer to establish sound guest and tenant relations and complete projects timely.
  • Direct all maintenance procedures/staff to ensure that job assignments and work orders are carried out promptly, efficiently, courteously and in accordance with established procedures.
  • Answer emergency calls and provide “on call" support when necessary. 
  • Maintain the shop and storage areas in a clean, orderly and secure manner.
  • Work closely with other department heads to execute guest delivery requests.
  • Support the efforts of the Chief Engineer with regard to safety, training departmental metrics.
  • Interface with support vendors and suppliers to ensure excellent service delivery and efficiencies.
  • Monitor energy consumption inclusive of all MEP’s and report deficiencies.
  • Candidate should be available for nights and weekends as dictated by business volume
