# Description



The Technical Analyst has the ability to develop, configure, maintain, troubleshoot & diagnose software resolutions, and correct complex system problems. Work with Manager to plan, organize, and control program and system development efforts. The Technical Analyst also has the ability to work effectively as a team member with both internal and external resources on IT projects.



Responsible for*IT Change Management operational support*with the goal of*facilitating awareness of IT changes*,*mitigating risk and ensuring compliance*with Change Management policies, audit and regulatory requirements.



Key Tasks & Responsibilities:



· Review and analysis of change requests

· Providing assistance to IT staff in regards to Change Management policies and procedures

· Creating reports for Change Advisory Board meetings

· Conducting daily CAB meetings

· Facilitating Root Cause Analysis gathering process

· Processing and analysis of production change reports

· Generating Change Management metrics

· Contribute to Change Management process improvement initiatives

· Maintenance of production implementation scripts

· Development, maintenance and administration of Governance repositories: license, maintenance & support, asset inventory, crisis management

· Governance compliance audit




# Qualifications



Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field is preferred and a minimum of 2 years related experience as a Technical Analyst within IT applications solutions and support.



Relevant Skills:

· Familiarity with Change Management concepts

· Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills

· Effective problem solving skills

· Must be detail oriented

· Proficiency with Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, at intermediate level is required

· Proficiency with SQL, Visual Basic, Access, Unix and SharePoint is a plus



Experience in one or more of the following areas:

· Change Management

· Release Management

· Incident Management

· Service Desk

· IT Infrastructure
