Description
As a cashier you are responsible for establishing warm and sincere contact with each and every guest. The interactions that take place at our registers are very important because this is the point that the guests take into account the price vs. the value of their meals. Cashiers must keep an eye out for First Time Guests and provide them with the freshest start to our company in the explanation of how our bars work and tips to enjoying each and every visit.
The challenge that you are facing as a cashier is not only being warm and sincere, but doing so in a quick and efficient manner. Speed is important because while you are interacting with the guest that is paying at that moment, the guest behind them is also ready to pay so they may sit and enjoy their meal.
Also, at all times you are to keep you and your area especially clean. As you can see the cashier job is a challenging one; one that requires a special and dedicated person.
Job Duties:
• Greet customers as they arrive at the store and provide them with information about products and/or services
• Respond to customers’ complaints and resolve their issues
• Take payment in exchange of items sold
• Fill drink requests
• Enter transactions in the POS cash register and provide customers with the total bill
• Sort and count currency and coins
• Issue receipts and change to customers
• Count money at the end and beginning of each shift
• Process exchanges and refunds
• Process credit card payments
• Issue and redeem gift cards
• Maintain all levels of utensils, cups and merchandise at the register
• Maintain knowledge of menu, products, pricing and promotions
• Keep the work area tidy and clean

Qualification
Qualifications Include, but are not limited to:
- Must possess a bubbly, friendly and warm personality in all situations
- Ability to smile in a high pressure environment
- Love of meeting new people and building relationships
- Some math skills required
- Appearance must be tidy, professional, and clean
- Must be eligible for employment in the US
- Ability to stand and walk continuously for up to 4 hours at a time
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs
- Understanding of the key role that this position plays in the company’s mission
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
