Technical Architect - Full-time / Part-time

Responsibilities:

1. The primary focus area for this role is to architect business solutions and to conduct comprehensive technical assessment for in-house and cloud solutions.

2. Continuously improve the technical assessment process based on risk to improve speed and agility of process.

3. Work with business to understand their requirements and apply technology skills to assess the solution architecture from several perspectives including feasibility, scalability, integration with backend systems, high availability, security, and data management etc. Apply architectural skills to develop strategic solutions to common challenges.

4. Maintain inventory of cloud solutions and model their architecture.

5. Assist in developing integration strategy for cloud-to-cloud, on-premise-to-on-premise and cloud-to-on premise integration. Work closely with business and IT staff to design individual integration solutions based on an overarching integration strategy.

6. Assist in developing process and guidelines for hosting applications on a preferred hosting vendor. Evaluate and manage hosting requests from business. Provide architectural guidance and coordinate implementation with hosting vendor, Infrastructure and Security teams.
