Entry Level Chemist

Aerotek Scientific is currently seeking an Entry Level Formulations Chemist for our Pharmaceutical Client in Olathe, Kansas

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS in Chemistry with a strong math background
• Strong lab experience (school experience is fine)

Skillsets needed:

• Familiar/comfortable with scientific methods and techniques, such as:
• Measuring volumes in a graduated cylinder
• Describing mixtures as solutions, suspensions, etc.
• Weighing materials accurately
• Proper use of significant digits
• Calculating concentrations (molarities- very important)
• Good documentation skills: not necessarily GLP training, but at least good handwriting and prior use of lab notebooks, etc.
• Experience with HPLC analysis is a plus, but not necessary for our current needs

Shift: 6:00am-2:00pm Monday-Friday
