This is a work at home position once training has been completed. Candidate must be willing to commute to the office in Phoenix, AZ. Qualified candidates should have at least 2 years of Behavioral Health/Mental Health experience.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position will develop and deliver training for Medicaid Health Plan personnel and Shared Services Departments. This includes the roles of Case Management Associate, Case Management Coordinator, Clinical Case Manager, UM Inbound Queue Rep, System of Care, Care Management, PA Nurse and Concurrent review.

Assists design and development of curriculum and develops and delivers training sessions to a uniquely defined designated audiences of learners. Collaborate with local leadership and national curricula design teams to ensure the successful development and transfer of learning from the classroom back to the job. Oversees the classroom environment for long-term and complex training situations, managing all aspects of student performance and feedback to management.

Uses a variety of educational media to design and develop state-of-the-art training tools and programs for designated Aetna audiences; assesses and reports on the effectiveness and ROI of training programs.

Fundamental Components

-Strong clinical/technical training knowledge of the function being trained.

-Excellent platform skills and the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization.

-Basic understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

-Knowledge of all aspects (including services available) of programs used by audiences (e.g., assessment tools, Milliman Care Guideline

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Associate's degree or equivalent experience.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

Nursing/Board of Nursing (Any State) is required

Will also consider a Mental Health/Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a strong clinical background
