Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for overall management of Colorado Medicaid Fiscal Agent Operations. Areas include:
Document Services (mailroom, claim/PAR batching, and document imaging)
Exam Entry (batch creation and claim/PAR/financial transaction data entry)
Resolutions (suspense inventory control and mass adjustment/void processing)
Third Party Liability (TPL check, ICVRs, EOMBs, and returned warrants processin g
Reference File Updates (procedure/revenue codes, provider specific and Out of State hospital rates, and diagnosis codes)
Medical Review (review home modification PARs and medical review edits on multiple claim types)
Provider Services (call center, provider training and provider enrollment)
Interface regularly with all levels of Department and Colorado Medicaid Fiscal Agent staff
Provide leadership to the Operations Management team
Understand and report on all areas of operational contractual compliance
Serve as escalation point for any Department issue.
Recommend systems and operational improvements
Recruit, hire and train personnel as necessary to ensure contractual requirements are met
Solve operations, production, monitoring and reporting issues
Work directly with the Department on operational issues concerning changes in program policy
Manage Department transmittal process to ensure Transmittal SLAs are met.
Manage and report on all areas of operational contractual compliance
Work with Vendors to evaluate equipment contracts and maintenance
Provide Best Practices Solutions by maintaining communication channels with leadership teams on other Xerox MMIS Accounts
Job Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of health care related experience required
Minimum of 8 years of experience managing and supervising staff required
Four (4) year degree from accredited college or university
Experience working in a customer oriented environment
Strong written and communication skills
Demonstrated ability in the area of strategic planning
