Under the supervision of the Parole Agent II, Supervisor, the Office Technician (OT) independently performs both routine and complex clerical functions for the Armstrong Oversight Program, District Court Compliance Unit. The incumbent is expected to consistently exercise a high degree of imitative and independence in performing the following clerical and organizational duties:

40% Provides clerical support to Armstrong Oversight Program, District court Compliance Unit, which includes preparing less complex correspondence, typing and proofreading memoranda, letters and reports, including confidential correspondence and/or documents. Type and distribute employee's probation and annual performance reports. Maintain records that deal with sensitive and confidential issues. Process employee timesheets and employee training requests accurately and timely.

20% Maintain calendars/schedules for staff, arranges meetings, conference calls and makes travel arrangements including transportation and lodging accommodations. Review travel expense claims prior to submission for payment to accounting, process mileage logs in a timely manner. Responsible for maintaining and ordering equipment and supplies as needed.

20% Photocopying or arranging for mass printing of materials, distribution of materials through various mail delivery systems and hand delivery, maintain filing systems tracking of controlled correspondence and other assignments to assure timely completion and create and maintain a subject/correspondence filing system.

15% Maintain and update databases, generate reports, and provide distribution as necessary, and assists with the clerical support of the Armstrong Oversight Program, District Court Compliance Unit.

5% respond to routine inquiries from field staff and outside agencies. Refer general public and employees telephone calls to staff for appropriate disposition and other duties as required.
