Position Purpose:
A fast-paced Fortune 50 retailer is seeking a Sr. IT Security Analyst to serve as a member of the IT Security team to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of sensitive Company information. Sr. IT Security Analysts may be assigned responsibilities within a diverse set of IT security subject areas such as: Payment Card Industry (PCI) and/or Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, vulnerability and risk management, disaster recovery preparedness, digital forensics and e-discovery support, PII data protection, identity and access management, security operations or intrusion detection. Assignments will call for the candidate to frequently collaborate with others, to work independently or in medium to large groups, and to articulate facts and results to peers, leaders, and management.

Applicants for this position should be well versed in SOX 404 and PCI DSS. Knowledge/exposure across a diverse landscape of technologies (network, storage, server) and retail and general business applications (POS, online retail, credit) will allow the applicant to most effectively partner with architects, developers and leaders across I.T. to ensure the company is well-positioned to demonstrate compliance. The position will call for the applicant to understand and manage controls in one or more SOX domains (Security, Operations, Change Management, Methodology), to ensure the controls are accurate and represent the activities in place to protect company data and to work with auditors and assessors.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
25%-Collaborate with others to understand processes, procedures, applications, technologies
25%-Drive application and technology compliance with corporate and regulatory policies/standards & industry best practices
20%-Drive improvements to security standards, processes and procedures
20%-Participate in project work; perform security specific project tasks; lead medium-to-large work streams
10%-Collect and analyze complex data, formulate recommendations, take action

Nature and Scope: Position reports to Manager, Information Technology This position has no Direct Reports

Environmental Job Requirements: Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Travel: Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Standard Minimum Qualifications: Must be eighteen years of age or older. Must pass the Drug Test. Must pass Background Check. Must pass pre-employment test if applicable.

Education Required: 5. The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Work Experience Required: 5

Physical Requirements: 1. Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Additional Qualifications: Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills are a must.

Preferred Qualifications: - One or more industry certification - CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCFE, GIAC, CCIE, CCSP, ABCP, MBCP, ISA, PCIP -
referred qualifications for this position include but are not limited to: strong communication skills, time management skills and organization skills. Experience defining IT controls and collecting supporting artifacts for SOX audits and PCI DSS assessments is essential. Prior roles partnering with technical and functional SMEs to ensure I.T. controls were well understood and met the intended objective is key to success in this position. Experience working directly with auditors and assessors is also preferred.
