As a Business Process Manager, you will be vital to our success and drive future growth. In this role you will support execution and problem-solving in the management and development of provider engagement programs. You will be empowered to do your best to develop the direction and vision for program roadmaps, establish collaborative relationships with external and internal stakeholders, gather accurate requirements and evaluate program performance to enhance our mission of helping people live healthier lives.


 


Primary Responsibilities:



  • Identifying program risks, weaknesses, and potential exposures
  • Develop or oversee program quality assurance metrics
  • Manage issue resolution
  • Drive program enhancements to materially improve program efficiency, stability, and efficacy
  • Requires problem definition and research to identify processes or applications to leverage solutions
  • Network with similar resources in other areas of Optum to maintain an understanding of new and existing tools available: as other areas of Optum adopt solutions and tools to solve problems, potential opportunities are created to apply these tools to other lines of business
  • Create a professional network and a forum for sharing challenges and solutions
  • Support or provide CRM improvements (Salesforce, etc.)
  • Contribute to channel alignment and assignment; territory management
  • Support End-to-end production/fulfillment re-engineering, management, and reporting
  • End-to-end operational controls dashboard

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • BS/BA Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Expert in business tools including Excel, Sharepoint, PowerPoint, Access, Tableau and Salesforce
  • Ability to collaborate with vendors, matrixed shared services resources, and health plan stakeholders to drive resolution to key business challenges
  • Strong Problem Solver
  • Drive resolutions
  • Experience in a data-dependant business environment
  • 2+ years of business process/project management
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve goals in a matrix environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence others
  • Able to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

 


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Advanced Degree (MBA or like degree in healthcare administration, etc.)
  • Understanding of Medicare Advantage, Medicaid and ACO
  • Health care business experience
