This Optum position supports customer, regulatory and external audit requirements relative to OPTUM TECHNOLOGY Managed Services and Solutions including efforts supporting the commercialization and global services delivery.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage or facilitate management of project teams supporting:
  
  
  
  • General Audit & Compliance Team Activities
  
  
  • Manage, maintain and enhance audit and compliance processes regarding report requirements and metrics, including monthly segment reporting
  
  
  • Perform intake processes and assignments responding to both internal and external audits, including RFPs, RFIs, general questionnaires, surveys supporting
  
  
  • Perform quick reads and triage of actual Request For Proposal language as it pertains to commercialization activities. Activities include facilitation of responses, collaboration with sister operations within Audit Risk and Compliance, Information Risk Management, and the Program Management team; all within abbreviated timeframes
  
  
  • Research and response to customer, customer/regulatory auditor or regulatory agency questions, as needed
  
  
  • Map findings to root causes and develop strategic approach for addressing those findings
  
  
  • Identify, develop, adopt process improvements to support efficient processing and best practices


• Liaison Activities:
  
  
  
  • Support and facilitate communication and relationship with key business contacts working with, among, and between Internal infrastructure and application teams in the gathering of documentation and artifacts to support inquiries and assessments
  
  
  • Manage key stakeholders in review and development of responses to all audit findings related to compliance matters, as needed
  
  
  • Communicate issues, potential risks and audit results
  
  
  • External and internal audit site visits, as needed
  
  
  • Direct technical issues to appropriate OPTUM TECHNOLOGY/Infrastructure & application teams, as needed
  
  
  • Data base management for reporting and customer/management assessment communications

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience in IT Security and/or Audit


• 5+ professional years in a project leadership role, project manager, audit and/or information security type role


• Intermediate MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint


• Organizational, Time Management and Project Management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Information security and IT audit controls


• SharePoint experience


• Business experience in Audit to include IT Audit, Internal Audit and/or external audit


• Audit Compliance


• RFP response experience
