About this job
The Mortgage Loan Post Closer is responsible for the timely and accurate gathering of post-closing conditions to ensure efficient sale of loans.
Responsibilities:
· Accurately stack mortgage loan files after closing for shipment to investors
· Assess post-closing deficiency reports and gather documentation sufficient for sale of loan
· Communicate with loan officers, processors, underwriters and closers
· Maintain clear and accurate documentation on progress and disposition of loan files
· Maintain a high level of expertise relative to all mortgage loan documentation required to satisfy post-closing deficiencies including but not limited to disclosures, documents, appraisals, income and asset statements
MUST HAVE:
- High school diploma
- 3+ years of work experience processing and/or post-closing conventional, FHA and VA mortgage loans
- 1+ years of working knowledge of Mortgage Specific software
