A Glimpse at the Job:

To make a difference by providing incredible customer service while protecting company employees, visitors, vendors and company assets.

We are a 24 hours/day-7 days/week department. Candidates must have a flexible availability including evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.

How you will add value:
  • Respond to emergency situations providing clear, calm, and decisive direction in situations such as: medical emergencies; fire emergencies; life safety system irregularities; workplace threats and violence situations; motor vehicle accidents; environmental emergencies
  • Manage traffic control into and out of the Retail Service Center
  • Routinely patrol on foot and in vehicle the buildings and grounds of the complex
  • Enforce vehicle and safety regulations
  • Uphold procedures related to load integrity on inbound & outbound trailers
  • Perform preliminary investigations involving safety and security events
  • Properly document events that occur during each shift
  • Initiate maintenance requests as needed Continuously Improving Results
  • Protect company property, corporate assets and the welfare and safety of employees, visitors and vendors with a strong emphasis on customer service
  • Observe surroundings in an effort to maintain safety, reduce shrink and prevent loss

Qualifications

What abilities I must bring to the table to be considered:

  • Must have at least 2 years of related work experience
  • Excellent Computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to deal with ambiguous situations
  • Provide incredible customer service, greeting customers and answering questions in a friendly manner, proactively offering assistance and providing accurate and timely information, making product/ service recommendations and accommodating special requests
  • Exhibit adaptability when faced with changes in the workplace, remaining positive, calm and focused when under pressure or when dealing with ambiguous situations
  • Relate well to others using interpersonal savvy to foster two-way communication and develop effective relationships; recognize differences in communication styles and maintain composure
  • Use data analysis, wisdom, experience, judgment, and past actions as well as input from other sources for decision making
  • Ability to work with confidential information
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s license and submit to a Driver’s Abstract & Criminal Background Check


What will set me apart from other candidates:
  • Degree in Criminal Justice or related field
  • Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience
  • CPR/AED/First Responder trained


Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older.
