About this job

Company is looking for a well-rounded maintenance technician that is strong mechanically and electrically. They will be reading prints (electrical and mechanical) to repair the issues throughout the facility. The mechanical troubleshooting will consist of drives, chain conveyors, DC (Direct Current-Elecricity) pneumatic guns, stops, and servo drives. They will be responsible for 105 DC Pneumatic guns throughout the facility (Atlas Copco DC Tools) that are used for bolting or screwing on parts during the assembly process. They will also be required to work on lift assists, AGV's (Automated Guided Vehicles), Robots (Fanuc-But will take Robot Experience), and small presses.
They will be required to troubleshoot electrically which will include: control panels, basic wiring (pulling wire, running wire, hooking up electrical), repairing limit switches and proxy (proximity) switches. If they are able to repair/ troubleshoot PLC's they will be expected to do so. PLC repair/troubleshooting is NOT a must but this is a plus if they can bypass or troubleshoot them. They will perform Electrical, pneumatic and mechanical repairs in every area of the facility. A part of their duties will be to fabricate or repair parts using machine shop tools (Manual Lathe & Manual Mill). Candidates will also be required to weld (MIG & Stick OR arc) on the conveyor lines or any machine that needs repair.
If the candidate has robotic experience this is a plus, and they will be given work orders accordingly. The company has Fanuc Robots but they are great with any experience (ABB, Motoman). All candidates will be required to perform PM's (Preventative Maintenance) on all equipment as a part of their daily routine. The candidate will need to be a team player and willing to help create solutions with the engineering team for any maintenance issue. At times the candidate may be required to work at heights above ground level. They will receive work orders (job duties) from their supervisor/manager and will be expected to see the job through.
