What You'll Be Doing:
- Software Verification & Test Engineer will be an individual contributor focused on verification of the technology, architecture, and implementation of an innovative data analysis & storage system software.
- Software Verification & Test Engineer will ensure quality and release readiness of software products.
- Software Verification & Test Engineer will collaborate with development team and management to plan verification and release efforts.
- Software Verification & Test Engineer work on devising, develop and execute software verification strategies and test plans.
- Software Verification & Test Engineer will implement a variety of testing techniques including functional, regression, performance and system tests. Report and track defects and communicate them to the development team and management.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- BS or MS in Computer Science required
- MINIMUM of 7+ years recent experience in Software Development and Verification
- MINIMUM of 3+ years expeirence with Manual Testing
- Very strong 'C' programming languange skills and experience
- Solid working knowledge of data structures, algorithms, software design, and verification techniques.
- Prior experience with Waterfall methodology
Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
- Ph.D in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related subject matter.
- Recent experience with Waterfall methodology
- Experience testing software meant for storage or networking hardware
