Assembly/Deburr - Mechanical

ASSEMBLY/DEBURR:
To deburr and assemble finished product using sub-assemblies, parts, laser marking, and fasteners. Shipping, receiving, tumbling, bead blasting, and assembly.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:

- Checks customer specification sheets to determine required assembly, exterior finish on product, and any special options.
- Clean, wash or tumble parts as required.
- Grinding
- Use appropriate tools to deburr or rework machined parts.
- Fits and assembles parts into complete or partial assemblies as needed.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and sub-assemblies, per customer order.
- Ensures that established safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Provides input on changes to standard operating procedures.
- Maintains assigned equipment to standard.
- Prepares product for shipping.
- Conform to the company quality system procedures as documented.
- Position can be monotonous.

QUALIFICATIONS

- High School Diploma or GED.

- Knowledge of technical drawings, diagrams, electrical schematics and instructions. Attention to detail. Mechanically minded.

- Eye for cosmetics and detail. This position is final before being shipped out so you need to make sure it looks in perfect condition.

- Knowledge of hand tools, basic understanding of manual lathes and mills, welding, blue print reading/measurements and math.

- Good driving record.

- Move 75 pounds.

- Willing to take a background and drug test.

- 1 year manufacturing background

Shift: Monday through Friday, 6am to 3pm
