Are you looking for a new job? We're seeking Plastic Molding Operators for a valued client located just north of Madison. This full time, temp-to-hire opportunity is available immediately. If you are interested, please apply today!
Job Duties May Include:
-Set up, operate, or tend plastic molding, casting, or core-making machines to mold or cast thermoplastic parts or products.
-Measure and visually inspect products for surface and dimension defects in order to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
-Observe continuous operation of automatic machines to ensure that products meet specifications and to detect jams or malfunctions, making adjustments as necessary.
-Turn valves and dials of machines to regulate pressure, temperature, and speed and feed rates, and to set cycle times.
-Position and secure work pieces on machines, and start feeding mechanisms.
-Trim excess material from parts, using knives, and grind scrap plastic into powder for reuse
-Remove finished or cured products from dies or molds, using hand tools, air hoses and other equipment; stamp identifying information on products when necessary.
-Cool products after processing to prevent distortion.
Skills Qualifications:
-Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
-HS Diploma or equivalent
-Previous machine operating and manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
-Ability to work well with others
-Strong work ethic and positive attitude
-Consistent attendance record required
-Reliability and punctuality are a must
-Ability to lift up to 50lbs. and stand for entire shift
