The Sr Business Analyst is supporting the VP of Customer Support and Training into the development of business processes and procedures, methods, analysis in order to improve business performance and company profitability.

He or she assists Department directors / managers to analyze financial and operational information, identifying strengths/weaknesses and recommending improvements in methods and processes. He or She will work very closely with the Finance department to develop and or enhance financial reporting and tools in support to the department leadership team requirements and needs. He or She will provide financial analytical data in support to leadership decision.

He or she relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performs a variety of tasks autonomously with limited management supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with directors and managers within the Customer Support & Training organization to Identify, formalize and implements financial reporting tools, methods and relevant KPIs.
2. Work in thigh collaboration with the finance department to develop and perform financial / profitability, cost/budget analysis for projects and or program to provide analytical data supporting tactical and strategic decision.
3. Support the different departments in the elaboration of business plan, ROI and profitability analysis and in the issuance and monitoring / follow-up activities of Requests for Spend and Investment.
4. Coordinate all activities related to budget elaboration and monitoring for CS&T.
5. Responsible to maintain the CS&T KPIs to ensure timely and appropriate measurement of performance. Ensure liaison with the worldwide CS&T process and governance organization.

Education

• BS degree or equivalent work experience.

Experience

• Requires a minimum of 5 years, directly related experience in areas of business analysis, Costs / Budget control / program profitability control / financial controlling.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
• Operational and functional knowledge of SAP in one or several of the following modules FI/CO, BI, SD, CS, MM
• Used to work in a multi-cultural environment, strong communication skills
• Experience of the Aerospace Industry is mandatory

Competencies & Attributes

• Works under minimal supervision; is expected to solve problems with some supervisory involvement; can analyze and asses situations.
• Has Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

License/Certification

• Green Belt / Black belt / 6 sigma training or certification
• SAP certification is a plus
