LEAK FORENSICS AND INVESTIGATOR/ FIELD TECHNICIAN
Are you sharp, organized and interested in a career change! We can train you for a career with ALD in the rapidly growing field of NONDESTRUCTIVE LEAK DETECTION!
American Leak Detection is the world leader in the accurate, non-destructive detection of all types of leaks including hidden water, sewer, and gas leaks by using proprietary equipment and methods. Such methods include ultrasound, sonar, molecular analyzers, infrared/ thermal imaging, electro-magnetic and cameras.
Founded nationally over 40 years ago, we now operate a network of high trained Original Leak Specialists throughout the U.S. and internationally. Our customers include homeowners, industry professionals such as insurance adjusters, plumbers, building contractors, property managers of apartment complexes and commercial real estate.
The local franchise of American Leak Detection has been in business for over 14 years and is growing in leaps and bounds with their diverse client base. We are diligently searching for multiple candidates to train for a six to eight weeks (depending on the level of your experience), and then to venture out on their own providing the quality, professionalism and high standards we have established over the years.
Applicants must have general knowledge of general building construction (mostly residential), comprehension, and plumbing familiarity (but not a plumber by trade) within the past 5 years. American Leak Detection is looking for an individual who has the ability to use skilled thinking, a quick problem solver, and is dependable. We require a high standard of professionalism and integrity with remarkable customer service abilities. Excellent verbal and competent writing skills for communication is a must.
*OUTSTANDING customer service skills, STRONG organizational skills
*Natural mechanical and analytical abilities
*Ability to provide our customers with high quality, detailed reports illustrating (photos) of where their problems are occurring on site and/ or for final reporting to insurance carriers
*Valid driver's license, clean driving record (Need to provide a certified copy of driving record if being interviewed)
*NEAT and PROFESSIONAL appearance
*RELIABLE transportation (to and from work)
*Able to pass background check and drug screening
American Leak Detection of Maryland is a family oriented business, with business hours of Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm. Training hours are approximately 10 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. Pay is $12.00 per hour during training, however after the training is completed, the pay rate converts to commission basis, which can range from approximately $20 to $80 per hour. This is based on experience, knowledge, and the drive to achieve. The company supplies the vehicle and equipment, you supply the time and skills.
This position requires a drive, long term and full time commitment with
American Leak Detection of Maryland. So, we need someone who is looking for a career, just not a pay check.
