As an Inventory Control Coordinator for our client, your precision recording and control of all inventories is key to the smooth production of its products. You'll do inventory audits, material expediting and cross-function communication. You'll ensure compliance with established SOPs. Your day will be spent in a warehouse environment that is challenging, fast paced and satisfyingly productive. You're detail-oriented and highly organized. You don't need someone to get you going, but you're comfortable with supervision. You're at home with the concepts, practices and procedures of inventory control. You're effectively maintaining several POU (Point of Use) storage locations throughout a manufacturing facility. Optimize material flow through the entire process focused on support for the customer. Procure non-stocked parts as needed following established procedures. Continuously improve area of responsibility and strive for complete customer satisfaction. Perform administrative type functions and customer support to assist the site in reducing procurement costs, generating cost savings, and engaging in effective customer relationship-building activities. You like learning and relish mastering the shipping system for a new company. You're a go-getter who enjoys physical work and can lift at least 40 lbs. You're no stranger around a computer, either. You're flexible enough to help out where needed and work overtime if required. You have some previous experience with shipping and receiving. You can see it. More challenging work.
